Neutrino Processes in Color Superconducting Compact Stars:
We discuss two interesting consequences of color superconducting
quark matter in compact star configurations:
1) the anisotropic neutrino emissivity in hot protoquark stars which
could contribute to an explanation of gamma-ray burst characteristics;
2) the suppression of quark direct Urca emissivity and thus of
too fast cooling of late hybrid stars.
